Ganesh Gruh Udyog is here to SAVE the day, you don’t have to WORRY! [see what we did there? ;)]
Based out of Ahmedabad, Ganesh Gruh Udyog manufactures 160 varieties of namkeen, capturing not just a large share of the wholesale and retail markets, but also the hearts of their consumers. So, when we got a chance to collaborate with such a fun brand, we were (nam)keen on ensuring the output is just as crispy as their quick bites!
STOP MOTION. START EMOTION.
We worked closely with the client to understand the product and the market in a little more detail. By doing so, we learned that Ganesh snacks form an integral part of every Indian household. How? From subeh ka naashta to shaam ki chai pe charcha waala saathi, the consumers absolutely love the flavour these snacks add to their everyday lives. So, we decided to represent these emotions visually by capturing the homely essence and combining it with just the right touch of desi.
How did we do that?
Of course, through a stop motion video. That’s why the heading, dummy! 😛
We started by creating a detailed storyboard – with each frame representing different kinds of namkeen. This helped us easily visualise the outcome even before entering the production part.
What was the result?
Various types of namkeen dancing to the tunes of some traditional beats, with a hot cup of tea placed right beside it, claiming the spot as a ‘go’ snack brand. Meaning, snacks that are not just your go-to, but can also make tummies happier on-the-go. This video immediately resonated with the audience kyuki jab ek garam chai ki pyaali ho aur saath mein Ganesh Gruh Udhyog namkeen ki thaali ho, toh aisa lage jaise har roz Diwali ho!
