“A sustainable tomorrow begins today!” – a noble idea, right?
This is what inspired Vaidehi, the founder of Heidi, to combine her innate sense of style with her deep sense of responsibility. And hence, was born a sustainable luxury fashion label, whose motto was to motivate people to “Dress up. Show up. And never give up.”
THE NAME GAME
Coining the name of this thoughtful initiative was like a fun runway experience. We strutted back and forth through a lot of options, but “HEIDI” emerged as our showstopper for two main reasons:
1 – Heidi is a part of the founder of the label – Vaidehi, literally and figuratively. Jumble up the letters in the name, and you arrive at this iconic identity.
2 – If you look up the meaning of “Heidi” in German, you’ll know that it means “of noble birth.” So, when the brand took shape out of such noble intentions, we just had to go for it.

Working on the launch of this brand felt like we were playing dress-up as we visualised its final look. And then, through a kinetic typography video and brand collaterals including the tags, thank you cards and business cards, we helped the world take notice of Heidi and remind our dear Feminas that they will always be in Vogue!
